Deliver a large-scale multi-day conference experience for over 150 delegates that combined conferencing, accommodation, catering, production and entertainment into one seamless event. Venue selection became a crucial part of the event strategy, with the client requiring conferencing facilities, guest accommodation and flexible breakout areas all within one location. Following venue sourcing and planning, Square Fish Events transformed the Edwardian Hotel in Manchester into a fully branded conference and entertainment environment.
The event experience was carefully designed to evolve across the three days, beginning with formal conferencing and workshops before transitioning into more immersive social experiences and high-energy evening entertainment. Every element needed to feel connected while maintaining enough variety to keep delegates engaged throughout the full programme.
Alongside conference production and staging, the event also required detailed planning around travel logistics, delegate experience, accommodation management, catering schedules and entertainment programming to ensure the event flowed seamlessly.
Creative & Production Highlights
The conference opened with formal presentations, workshops and networking sessions designed to bring the wider Quooker team together while creating space for collaboration and strategic planning.
Alongside the conference programme, delegates took part in a fully interactive team-building experience known as the “Quooker Games” — a high-energy activity concept designed to encourage participation, competition and connection between teams. The experience blended physical games, social interaction and entertainment moments to create a fun and memorable atmosphere throughout the day.
As the event progressed into the evening experiences, the venue was transformed once again for a formal Alpine-inspired dinner and private after-party experience. Guests were transported from conference mode into a completely different environment through lighting, styling, entertainment and immersive production techniques.
The final evening culminated in the “Quooker Club” — a branded nightclub-style after-party experience featuring DJs, lighting design and entertainment production that kept delegates engaged late into the night. Throughout the entire event, Square Fish Events managed all logistics, supplier coordination and live production to ensure a seamless delegate experience from arrival through to departure.
