Challenge
Trafford Palazzo is truly a stunning space and makes an incredible backdrop for any event. Like many public, free flowing spaces, it comes with many challenges. We wanted to utilise the entire space and really bring the building to life. We set out to design an immersive experience and produced an aerial rig, centre stage, catwalk and small stage immersed into the water fountain. We installed a mass of production, sound and lighting and created an incredible set for this epic show.
We designed a show programme that would complement the building, engage with guests of all ages, and make sure we captured the flow of people moving through the malls.

The show kicked off with roving statues engaging with guests and provided the perfect selfie – we then wowed guests with the main show, packed with dancers, marching bands, aerial performers, operatic live vocals, and breath-taking production. The weekend followed with string quartets, live DJs, and family fun such as face painting and activities.
Feedback
The feedback from our client Peel L&P and visitors was truly brilliant – lots of engagement on social media, press and amongst the community. The weekend had such a fantastic buzz, and it was so great to see Trafford Palazzo packed with families and friends enjoying this stunning space – a job well done!
